INFINITECH is a Flagship initiative, a widespread and shared model with global implications in the development and implementation of this topic addressed throughout the European Union. For the Banking and Finance sector, INFINITECH envisages three large use cases:
Personalized Retail and Investment banking Services
Smart, reliable and Accurate Risk Assessment
Predictive Financial Crime and Fraud Detection
Within these three case studies, there are 12 pilot cases developed by Banking and Financial Institutions.
The ABI Lab Consortium was called upon to take part in the Project in running the activities on defining requirements, in conducting the use cases and in supporting the European dissemination and networking activities.
ABI Lab participates in the INFINITECH Project through the community of its own AI Hub which identified a list of use cases to be developed within the scope of the initiative.
The chosen use case will be developed through a collaborative approach. ABI Lab will act as coordinator and facilitator and the requirements will be selected with the engagement of banks belonging to the AI Hub; technical and development aspects will be supported by GFT and HPE. ABI Lab may include some banking experts or specialists from the AI Hub community in order to support the analysis, design and implementation of the pilot.
