Six countries (Denmark, Germany, Iceland, Italy, Latvia and Norway) have formed the consortium called NOBID to bring the payments project to life as a priority use case for the European Union’s digital identity wallet.

This proposal has been selected as one of the EU Digital Identity Pilots and will receive funding from the European Commission's DIGITAL Europe programme.

ABI Lab is contributing in particular to the Pilot on possible use cases of digital wallets and payments. The activities started in March 2023 and will last 2 years.
