The Big Data Value Association (BDVA) is an international not-for-profit organisation with 200 members all over Europe made up of large, small, and medium-sized industries as well as research and user organisations. BDVA is taking part in the implementation of the Big Data Value PPP programme, pursuing a shared vision of positioning Europe as the world leader in the creation of Big Data Value. In December 2019, BDVA approved the creation of a new Task Force focusing on AI applications and on Big Data in the financial sector. Together with GFT Italia, ABI Lab is coordination this initiative and their objective, among other things, is to create a white paper on the application of AI in the financial sector.
